In this post, I am going to show you how to install [Substratum] MateriaL UI on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install [Substratum] MateriaL UI using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "[Substratum] MateriaL UI" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

NEW "FULL BLACK MODE": use a completely black background for the components of your UI, useful to fully exploit the capacity and the beauty of your amoled display. TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS FEATURE YOU MUST HAVE INSTALLED AN ANDROID 6.xx. ROM VERSION THAT SUPPORT THE SWITCH BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARK THEME. Usually you can find it in the developer option or display options.

If you have some icon not themed in settings you can request it. You can send an email to me with the screenshoot of the icon not themed and the Settings.apk of your rom. Sorry for the inconvenience but i can't test the theme with all aviable roms.

This theme will work on all ROMs with the latest Layers support and Layers Manager installed.
Theme works on Android 5.x.x/6.x.x/7.x.x with substratum and RRO layers support.
