For correct work of the program with the chip which is on a payment of the device it is necessary to turn off "location service" in the Android settings.

The application works with two types of data. The first is the NMEA format, the second is a binary format. In the first version, this is the UBX protocol for U-blox chips. With the help of the application you will be able to configure the GPS chip:
1. Set the frequency and speed of data acquisition;
2. Set the type of messages that will be sent to the port;
3. Reset the chip to its factory settings or save the current settings to the chip memory;
4. Save incoming data to the log;
5. Creating a server for network connection;

Also with the help of the application you can view raw data in NMEA and UBX format. View the indications of some types of messages. View the current location on the map and view the track if there was traffic.

To work with the application, you need to select the port to which the GPS chip is connected. This application is great for debugging your GPS receiver and also for testing its performance in the Android system.
