Step By Step Guide To Install My Shop List - Old using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

The My Shop List app updates every time an item is placed on the shop list or to-do list via voice entry or keypad​. This allows access to an updated grocery list to anyone in the family with a smartphone.

The app will automatically update/delete items when marked as purchased from InMyCart on the user’s phone.

The MyShopList app will be capable of saving lists such that routine lists do not have to be regenerated each time.  (Ex: ingredients for favorite recipes, weekly recurrent items (history) or special events such as Thanksgiving Dinner, Easter Brunch.)  

The lists can be sorted alphabetically & chronologically.

The lists do not have to be limited to shopping items.  Lists for daily chores, to-do lists or home-work, could be generated shared by all family members in the network.

If the user chooses to not do their own shopping, but still wants to use the FridgePad for its convenience, there would be an option that the user could upload the shopping list to a grocery home delivery service such as Amazon Fresh, InstaCart, or PeaPod.

In the future a electronic FridgePad will be created that integrates with the MyShopList app. This FridgePad will allow point of use entry of new shopping list and to-do list items that will sync with the smartphones of all the users in the group. The FridgePad will allow handwritten entry with a stylus or keypad entry or voice entry of list items.

The unique features of this application will provide the following benefits for all users:

FridgePad will be designed to encourage use of family members of all ages.
