Choose a hard pencil (the best H pencil) that makes light, a faint sign that is easy to remove. A good quality eraser and thick paper are also important ingredients to have if you want your sketch to look professional.

If you don't have the right type of pencil, you can do a sketch with number 2. Remember to make the mark very light, don't press hard on the page.
It is not recommended to draw with a pen, because you will not be able to delete the mark you made.
You also need colored markers, ink or paint to describe your clothing design.

2. Determine the pose for your Croquis.

The model for your design, called Croquis, must be drawn in a pose that shows off the best items. You can show the model of walking, sitting, bending, or other positions. As a beginner, you might want to start with the most common poses, the mainstay sketch that shows the model is standing or stepping on the catwalk. It's the easiest and allows you to describe all your designs in full view.
