You can use it to send promotional messages.
Just set bluetooth-name for your device in settings. It will be a short text message you want to convey to all.

When an attempt pairing, target device learns the name of your device. Therefore, the user of the target device can see the text that you specified as the name of your device. Even if the user of the target device is not immediately drew attention to what had occurred pairing attempt, your text gets in his list of devices, available for pairing. In recorded history, only those devices that has been successfully initialised session pairing. If the unit is brought into history, it will continue to be ignored.
