HEAT.VALUE is used for the simple calculation of relevant factors for different common prices (prices) in relation to wood chips and firewood.

The billing of wood chips and firewood is not regulated in detail in Austria, which indicates each seller or buyer other guide values. This makes a direct comparison of the various providers very difficult. The app helps to compare the common pricing information and to find the best provider or buyer.

The app includes two calculation fields: wood chips and firewood. Immediately after the start, it is possible to select the preferred calculation field. The app should be practical for the user and easy to use. Thus, long tables can be dispensed with. The calculations refer to the latest standards and findings (eg ÖNORM EN ISO 17225-1 and ÖNORM C 4005 and other publications)

The calculated values are empirical values and the values are partially rounded. Costs for transport, shredding, etc. are not included in the price calculation!

The added value of the app is that known values can be entered and further values (if appropriate inputs) result from it. Depending on the question, it is possible, for example, to calculate how much a bulk volume meter with the specified quality is worth, if you pay about 16 € for the MWh calorific value.

The entered, calculated values are always the same value. This means that costs such as hacking or transport are not included. The costs would have to be added or subtracted. Thus, however, several questions can be answered, the app remains manageable.

If the user does not need certain factors, he can disable them at any time to shorten the list. So the app is also ideal for inexperienced users. Farmers and heating plant operators should be sensitized as simply as possible to quality requirements and be given the opportunity to generate certain advantages in the market.

The factors are based on experience and measurement results. There is no claim to absolute correctness of the factors and the calculated values. Changes in the case of further findings and user claims reserved. No legal right to economic effects.
