The Mobile Waste Tracking System (MoTAT) was defined and established by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in accordance with the Communiqué on the Transportation of Wastes on the Road. MoTAT is an integrated system of Waste Management Application, one of the online environmental practices of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

The MoTAT system ensures that the hazardous wastes mentioned in the aforementioned Communiqué are recorded and disposed of at the point of their recovery / disposal. The monitoring of hazardous wastes is provided by transferring the location, time, waste from the vehicle and transfer of vehicle data to the Ministry servers from the mobile devices in the licensed waste transportation vehicles used in the shipment of waste.

Users of the system are small enterprises such as large industrial facilities, hospitals as well as family health centers, auto repair shops, restaurants and kiosks.
                
MoTAT is reached by selecting the Waste Management Application within the environmental practices following the introduction of the facility to send waste (waste producer) with the e-government password from the https://ecbs.cevre.gov.tr/ address of the Ministry. In order to deliver the waste after access to MoTAT, the waste manufacturer must fill out a form and approve this form.
