The impact of your design depends a lot on the colors and patterns you use. Think about the clothes made for what and how you imagine people wearing them. Think of your customer, and what he wants to wear. What's important, make what you think looks good. There are no strict and easy rules here. You are the designer, and you must be honest with yourself more than anything.
If you are not too stressed, draw freely. Here your image does not need to be anatomically correct, and most of the drawings of people sketches made by the designers show a personal style. Your design will look more unique in the sketch you draw yourself. Don't worry about small details; just imagine your picture like a two-dimensional mannequin.
Draw a straight line, then divide it into 10 equal lengths. This is your guide when drawing.
Part 1 starts just below the head, then measures the body from the top of the neck to the center of the chest; part 2 is measured from the middle of the chest to the waist; part 3 from the waist to the bottom of the hip; part 4 from the bottom of the waist to the middle of the thigh, part 5 from the middle of the thigh to the knee, part 6 from the knee to the middle of the calf, part 7 from the top of the calf to mid calf, part 8 from the middle calf to the heel, and section 9 is the leg.
