Slank is a music group in Indonesia. Formed by Bimbim on December 26, 1983 because of bored playing music into a cover band and have a strong desire to create their own songs. And managed to become one of the historic musicians and is remembered and influential for all time in Indonesia [1]. Besides that, Slank also won the title of Indonesia's Highest-Paid Music Star (2008 most expensive paid music star) in 2008 and 2009 with a fee of Rp 500 million per show. [2]

Slank is now one of the top music groups, which started with the Cikini Stones Complex (CSC) on December 26, 1983, which is a music group consisting of high school students at the Cikini College, Jakarta. CSC consists of Bimo Setiawan (drums), Boy (guitar), Kiki (guitar), Abi (bass), Uti (vocals), and Well Welly (vocals), who express a lot of love for Rolling Stones songs. Unfortunately, this group did not survive and disperse. Slank experienced personnel changes up to 14 times in 1996, which has survived to the present. The last formation which started from Slank's 7th album, consisted of Bimbim (drums), Kaka (vocals), Ivanka (bass), Ridho (guitar), and Abdee (guitar).

Hehehe (Sexy Girls) (1990), Kampungan (1991), Piss (1993), Blue Generation (1994), Minorities (1996), More Sad (1996), Seven ( 1997), Mata Hati Reformasi (1998), 999 + 09 (1999), De-Best of Slank (2000), Ngangkang (2001), Virus (2001), Roadshow Virus (2002), One One (2003), Pirated!
