Hidden Camera Detector - Anti Spy Cam starts detecting hidden cameras and microphones from up to 15cm away. It also detects ferromagnetic materials, such as camera and cannot detect non-ferromagnetic materials such as aluminum.

The magnetic field of a camera in nature ranges from 80 to 150µT (0.80 to 1.50 T). Data is displayed in µT (micro Testla). 1µT = 10mG (milli Gauss). Any higher calculation is an indication of metal in the area. When there is metal in the area, magnetic field increases. The app will also beep if it encounters any metal object (so use as directed).

Usage:
Open hidden camera detector - anti spy cam and Press the "Detect Using Magnetic Sensor" button to start detecting. You just need to move your device/phone around the suspected area. If the magnetic field values rise then there is a chance that there is a spying hidden camera or hidden microphone in that area. The hidden camera detector - anti spy cam will beep if it detects any spying device nearby. You can turn the beep on or off by tapping the speaker button on top.

Note:
The results may vary due to the effect caused by electromagnetic waves emitted by electrical appliances on your device's magnetic sensor. The detection of hidden cameras and devices by magnetic sensor won't work if your device does not have a magnetic sensor available, you can still use the IR Camera Detection feature.

If the reading is stuck, try to initialize the sensors by pointing your phone up and rotate it in a figure 8 pattern.
