AR Build - Farm is the first in our family of Augmented Reality Building applications. Build a farm of your very own in augmented reality!

AR Build apps are developed with young children in mind. They are created to be deliberately simple, perfect for short attention spans - no coins to manage, no items to unlock. Every item is accessible right from the beginning. It’s like having a virtual toy set wherever you go, without an expensive purchase and without the mess.

AR Build gives children the freedom to play in a virtual environment, while allowing them the same benefits of traditional building toys. Children can play independently or as a group. They get to make creative choices, determining how their scene looks and feels. This is great for parents and teachers, as it will then transpire into other areas of education and make the child a well-rounded learner as they grow older.


How it works - Step by Step:

Find a flat, uncluttered place to play. The more room, the better!
When ready, turn on the app and press the play button.
Once your device’s camera is active, slowly pan the camera around the room, targeting the flat area you picked out.
Once your device finds a suitable area, grass will begin to grow - you can now place items from your inventory.
Click the “+” button to access your inventory and choose an item you want to place.
Double tap the grass in the area you’d like to spawn the item.
Once spawned you can single tap the item to select it.
Once selected you can drag, pinch, and pull in various ways to move your item, rotate it, or make it larger or smaller. You can select and adjust one item at a time or many items at once.
When satisfied, single tap your item or in any empty area to deselect it.
To discard an item, select it and click the trash can icon. You can select and discard once item at a time or many items at once.
You can move your device around to get a look at your farm from various angles.

Keep in mind:

Augmented reality applications are very computationally intense which may potentially cause your device to heat up more than usual and/or drain your battery more quickly.

AR Build - Farm is still in active development. As such, the current version of the app may not perform perfectly on your device! If you come across a bug or need assistance of any kind, please do not hesitate to contact the developer at developer@ar-build.com. We will get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.
