The Gospel is a Greek word meaning good or joyous news. The book, which tells the story of Jesus' life on earth as well as the works and messages of his early disciples, is called the Bible because this book is good news for every human being, wherever he is and at all times. The word "gospel" may suggest that there is a bad news that preceded it, and that it was followed by good news and joy! This is true. The bad news is that the sin committed by the first man (Adam) in the Garden of Eden cost him a great deal. He was expelled by God the Holy One, who is just from Paradise, and separated from him. Since the human race is descended from Adam, we all inherited the wrong nature of Adam and Eve, and therefore we are also separate from God. (Romans 6:23) And because God is loving and merciful, He has made a great plan toward man, To save him from death and to give him eternal life, any restoration of the relationship and communion with him. This is the Gospel / good news that God gives us, that He sent Jesus Christ to offer Himself a sacrifice on the cross and redeemed man - that Christ by His sacrifice on the Cross pays the price of our sins with His blood - and every person who believes in the work of Christ for Him personally gains eternal life and restores communion and relationship with God Acceptable to him. The "Gospel" without him naturally experienced Jesus Christ, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, the Word of God formulated by the disciples of Christ inspired by the Holy Spirit.
