Enter and become the star character in the action with the most spectacular videos within the virtual reality compilation, augmented reality and 360 degree videos.
Immersive videos, also known as 360º videos or spherical videos, are videos created with a panorama that records in all directions at the same time. In the case of videos based on real images, the camera can record in all directions at the same time, omnidirectional camera or the video is made up of the union of images recorded by different cameras oriented in complementary and known directions. Additionally, the viewer has control of the direction of visualization in real time, generating a kind of virtual reality that evolves over time.
Within virtual reality, we find various concepts that tend to be confused with each other. Three of the most popular: virtual reality itself, augmented reality and 360 degree videos.
The three formats are intended to improve the experience of a common flat projection by inducing the viewer to immerse themselves within the action. This happens at different levels, going from low to high: augmented reality, 360 degree videos and virtual reality. Thus, we would have a deeper immersion in virtual reality, something that influences the player, usually glasses built to isolate the environment.
When talking about an immersive video, we are talking about videos where the images can be seen in 360. The field of vision covers the entire environment around the camera.
