CFTU-DT is a Quebec-based educational television channel mainly in the French language located in Montreal. It is owned by a private non-profit consortium, now known as Canal Savoir, comprised mainly of post-secondary educational institutions, and whose main partner is Télé-Québec.

Thanks to its antenna and its connections to cable and satellite television, Canal Savoir is accessible to more than 4.2 million Canadian households, including approximately 2.5 million in Quebec2.

Locally, CFTU-DT broadcasts digitally with a 250-watt transmitter for an effective radiated power (ERP) of 910 watts from the top of the Université de Montréal tower, making it the most television signal. low in Montreal, at the same level as most low power UHF stations in the United States.
