In this post, I am going to show you how to install 3D Scanner - Model Builder on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install 3D Scanner - Model Builder using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "3D Scanner - Model Builder" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

SCANNING 3D MODEL
Scanning real world objects has always been tough but now using the Scan 3D app you can Scan any object easily and convert to 3D model. Place your object in center and start capturing Images or recording video by Rotating around and focusing on the target. Scan the object from two different angles and it will be automatically converted to 3D.
Scan 3D uses photogrammetry technology to create true 3D model from photos and video from smartphones. The smartphone becomes a standalone tool to turn images into 3D model. The resulting 3D models can be stored locally and shared with contacts.

APPLICATION FEATURES
• Capture Photos and Video from your smartphone. The images and video will be uploaded to server and processed to get high quality 3d model.
• Built-in model viewer: review your models on your phone!
• Upload Your 3D images to Your Sketchfab account. Once the model is ready, it can be downloaded locally and can be shared on Sketchfab.
• After uploading to Sketchfab, share easily on fb or any other social media!
•The ability to export models in multiple formats, such as OBJ, STL, or PLY will be available soon.

OUTPUT
The output of the 3D model will be in OBJ format. We are working on to get multiple file formats of the Output. Models can be exported for use in other 3D tools – OBJ. Share your models with friends through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Email and SMS will be available soon.
