The “fLEX” software has been developped for research purposes. It is a multilingual language assessment tool in Basque, French and Spanish aiming at assessing the production and comprehension of words and sentences. It was created in order to circumvent the lack of multingual language assessment tools in the field of language pathologies. This tool has been created within the scope of the project Cross-language and Cross-population Verb Processing (FP7-PEOPLE-2011-IOF Marie Curie, awarded to Pourquié M. and coordinators Carreiras M. and Royle P.). It aims at identifying particular areas and degrees of vulnerability in language processing across languages, in developmental and acquired language disorders (Specific Language Impairment and aphasia, respectively).
