The dynamic of Bitcoin Play has to change due to lower than expected advertising impression to revenue data. The application was originally designed to be a way for charity groups to earn money by playing a game and watching adverts. The data from those tests worked correctly. Now due to over-serving of advertisements to individual devices and by the none serving of advertisements in unsupported countries the revenue per game has dropped to a tenth of its original

As a consequence, without dropping the Top Win to 20 satoshis per game the impression to revenue ratio does not cover the wins.

We are moving to a scoring system where for each Competition the top 25 players will win a % of the Advertising Revenue Pot sent to their CoinBase account. This will allow us to move from forced 30-second ads to Skippable Advertisements and if the Advertisement does not load there will be no penalty. We have seen a lot of issues with Unity Advertising not serving correctly worldwide.

We are taking the Entire Advertising Revenue as of the switch to Version 5 and dividing it up between the users (no 40k cap required). This will be done by adding all Satoshi earnt on the database and Dividing the Actual Revenue by this total, then we can work out each users contribution to that total as a percentage value of their wins.

We will be contacting Users in Batches starting at the top and working down. Please allow a few weeks for this all to be processed.
