Catalunya Offline on Windows Pc

Catalonia Offline Mobile is an application made by the Geological and Cartographic Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) that lets you move around the Catalan territory, take points and record your routes and trips with GPS, even when the data coverage your phone.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To be given top 6 Android permissions manually: Settings / Apps / Offline Catalonia / permissions. (Otherwise the GPS and the download will not work)

The application allows downloading and viewing mapping the ICGC both the topographical map and the orthophoto.

The topographic map shows the hierarchical and structured information for easy reading of the map. It shows the contour lines and information on the mountain paths.

The orthophotomap The detail of the terrain at larger scales. In this case the image is complemented with some geographic information to facilitate their understanding: roads, trails, paths and names.

The unloading of sheets for use offline (offline) is made from 77 geographic units with cutting published the paper version of the Topographic Map of Catalonia 1: 25.000.

• The set of points and routes can be marked as visible or not, and can also be removed.

• The application allows you to publish the data collected as a Instamaps map. Instamaps is a free web tool that lets you view the ICGC, work and put your information online geographic routes in two and three dimensions (www.instamaps.cat). You must have an account Instamaps.
