Alla Borisovna Pugacheva (in the first marriage - Orbakene; genus. April 15, 1949, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) - Soviet and Russian singer, songwriter, pop director, producer, film actress and TV presenter. People's Artist of the USSR (1991). Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (1995). Commander of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" II, III and IV degree.

Her repertoire includes more than 500 songs in Russian, English, German, French, Hebrew, Finnish, Ukrainian, and the discography includes more than 20 solo records, CD and DVD. In addition to Russia and the countries of the former USSR, the albums of the singer were published in Japan, Korea, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria. The total circulation of disks exceeded 250 million copies.

Alla Pugacheva's career was marked by both All-Union and international success on the music scene in the countries of Eastern and Northern Europe. Now it is called the "prima donna", "pop queen", "the main singer of Russia." From 1976 to the early 1990s, according to polls of all-Union music charts, was invariably recognized as the best female singer of the year.

Biography:

Parents: Zinaida Odegova (1922–86) and Boris Mikhailovich Pugachev (1918–1982) met in 1946, both were front-line soldiers, married in 1946, and their first child, Gennady, was born in 1947, but the child was painful and died a few months after birth. On April 15, 1949, their second child was born - a daughter, who was named after the Moscow Art Theater actress Alla Tarasova. On April 7, 1950, the third child was born - the son of Eugene (1950–2011).
