The user is supposed to take a picture of either his own face or someone else's face. The app is detecting where the iris of the person is (which eye can be chosen by the user) and displaying it in a 400x400 sized image immediately after that. There is a readme button which directs one to a screen with clear instuctions on how the picture should be taken. A settings menu provides the user with some extra functionality for example which eye he wants to capture or wether he wants the bright reflection in the pupil to be removed on the fly. In case the iris could not be detected for some reason, there are several messages telling the user where in the chain of image-processing the error occured and what he can do to make it work in the next try.
