In these three decades, the competition developed and reached high levels of organization and dispute, attracting the interest of the entire world. Some of the best and most recognized athletes of the world soccer are South American and will play in this 46th edition of the tournament, between June 14 and July 7, 2019.

In addition to the 10 South American countries members of CONMEBOL: Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, there will be two members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), who will participate as guests. Football fans will have the opportunity to enjoy three FIFA World Cup champions gathered in the field.

The 26 matches will be distributed in 6 stadiums: Mineirão Stadium (Belo Horizonte), Arena do Grêmio (Porto Alegre), Maracanã Stadium (Rio de Janeiro), Fonte Nova Arena (Salvador), Corinthians Arena and Morumbi Stadium (São Paulo).
