SADIP is a non-profit civil association that aims to contribute to the progress of the sciences and disciplines involved in the control, prevention and assistance of infectious diseases in children, including their primary prevention through vaccines and promoting the basic and applied research.

It seeks to bring together interdisciplinary work between pediatricians and health team professionals related to Pediatric Infectious Diseases: bacteriologists, virologists, mycologists, parasitologists, specialists in Molecular Biology, Epidemiology and Infection Control, as well as promoting continuing education, specialization and improvement.

SADIP was founded in 2007 by a group of pediatric infectious disease specialists spread throughout Argentina.

Since then he organizes Continuing Medical Education activities permanently throughout the country.

The International Congress is annual since 2016, and brings together more than 1,000 colleagues each year in the city of Buenos Aires.

For this eighth edition, which will take place on April 11 and 12, 2019, an intense scientific program has been prepared with the participation of distinguished guests from the USA, from countries in the region and from Argentina.

The program also includes two satellite symposiums sponsored by the industry, at central time and with refreshment service, a large commercial sample where coffee services will be offered at intervals.

We highlight for the closure, as usual, the joint session with the Latin American Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (Symposium SLIPE-SADIP), which precedes the closing ceremony in which the prizes will be awarded to the best works and a lucky assistant will go to house with a new "iPad", won in the draw with which SADIP always closes its congress.
