Neta Barzilai (born January 22, 1993), also known by her first name Neta, is an Israeli singer, musician and DJ. Won the fifth season of the next Eurovision Song Contest, which led her to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Toy" when she represented Israel, the fourth win in the history of Israel in the competition [1].
Barzilai was born, raised and educated in Hod Hasharon as a middle daughter and has two brothers [2]. At the age of three months she moved with her family to Nigeria, due to her father's work with Solel Boneh, and at the end of the period she returned to Israel. In her youth she studied at the Hadarim High School in Hod Hasharon and was an apprentice and counselor in the Ramatayim youth movement of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement. Prior to her enlistment in the IDF, she volunteered for a year of service in the "Tarbut" movement in the Nahal Brigade, after which she served in the Navy Company [3] [4].

In September 2017 she auditioned for the Eurovision Song Contest. At "Stage of the Screen" she sang the song "Rude Boy" by singer Rihanna, in a special arrangement that was rated 82%. In February 2018 she advanced to the final stage of the program, in which she competed against Chen Aharoni, Yehonatan Margi and Riki Ben Ari. In the final, on February 13, 2018, she lost a duel to singer Ricky Ben-Ari and was put off, but remained on the show due to the decision of three of the judges to leave her on the show.
