Rádio Nossa was founded on March 4, 2005 in the City of Bissau. It belongs to the Media Group of the IURD, Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, with Headquarters at the Avenue of Combatants of Freedom of the Homeland in Bissau, Capital of Guinea- Bissau.

It was born in a post-civil war context in Guinea-Bissau with the objective of promoting peace, national unity and messages of the Gospel to the Guinean people.

Rádio Nossa is a general public private media body, with national coverage, aims, among other objectives, to work for the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law in Guinea Bissau;

Always guiding by truth, objectivity, exemption and plurality of information for the purpose of forming an enlightened civic consciousness.

After a decade of its existence, Radio Nossa has made a qualitative leap, leading to its broadcasting on the internet and social networks, to better serve Guinean society, and in the opportunity to promote internationally the image of a prosperous Guinea- Bissau.
