Description: This application detects the presence of metals, magnetic fields and electromagnetic wave nearby you by measuring the magnetic field level. Your phone has a built in magnetic sensor and this useful app uses that sensor and shows magnetic field level in microtesla (μT). The value of magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is around 49 μT. If any metal gets near phone, the value of magnetic field start rising. The application will show the value of magnetic field and beyond a certain limit the app will start beeping to warn the user.

Usage: The app has been designed to let the user know of any metal of magnetic field nearby. All metals generate magnetic field and depending on the strength the user can identify any metal object in an area. Launch the application on your mobile device and starting walking. Move the app around and you will start seeing the magnetic field level in app constantly fluctuating. Colorful line shows the value of magnetic field level. The chart will increase beyond a certain range, the device will vibrate and make sounds letting the user that a metal is nearby.

Metal Detector is easy to use and a very useful app for your mobiles. If you want to detect any presence of a metal around your phone, just open the app and it will start giving you information if any metal is present in your surroundings. The user can search and find metals objects in your surroundings. Hidden camera can also be detected by this metal detector. Find electrical wires in walls, iron pipes on the ground. Keep in mind that due to electromagnetic waves, the magnetic sensor gets affected by electronic equipment. Do not use it around your electronic devices which can interfere with the readings of the magnetic sensor.

Note:
Not every smartphone has a built-in magnetic field sensor. If your device does not have one, the application will show a dialog that the device does not contain magnetic field sensor and the application will not work.
