This app is built with the idea that stroke patients may arrive to any emergency room in the country (or the world). Some EDs may not have as much practice with hyperacute (0-24 hours) stroke care. Some others are experts, and may not need this tool. There are many ways of "doing the same task", this is just one suggested way of approaching the hyperacute stroke patient.

This app is a suggested clinical path, a flow, a rhythm, a memory aid, an overview, a review source and an education tool. The user(s) will have to use critical thinking and decide when it may or may not be adequate for your clinical situation, your context, your practice style and habits, and your patient's specific needs.

To get the most of out it, the healthcare provider(s) (HCP) need to have it available and be familiar with it. We suggest the HCPs run through it in its entirety at least one, when it is not need it. That way you have a sense of its flow. Get acquainted with the app, its operations, its rhythm before using it in real life. The app will NOT suit every situation, or every team, or every person. Review the screenshots in the store listing. Before using it review the Disclaimer.

The timer on the right upper corner, is the suggested time that particular one task should take.

Please, always observe YOUR OWN general times (note and write down when the care process begins), this is important particularly if you have to pause the flow of the app. You can flip pages one-by-one forward and backard, the total time will be altered, in that case. The time-flow fo the app will continue once you "play" again, but you will have to compensate for the length of the pause.

Some relevant bibliography and tools are linked. You are responsible for keeping updated, and observing if this app's content continues to be relevant for your continued clinical and educational use.

The app is available for Android, iPhone/pad, and Windows. If you would like to request a specific customization, please let us know. There are certain features that could be adjusted (for a fee) to adapt the app to your environment. Some are not.

We welcome your feedback and constructive suggestions.
