Step By Step Guide To Install Election Kottayam using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

The Election Kottayam is an application developed for the smooth conduct of the parliamentary election of 2019. It acts as a bridge between a booth officer and the sector officer and also to the respective AROs of each booth and area. The RO has got the overall control and view over the process.

Developed and maintained by Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally, Kottayam for the District Administration of Kottayam with the guidelines and instructions from the District Collector Mr P.K Sudheer Babu IAS for the use on the election day of 2019 Parliament election on April 23, 2019.

Functioning of the application

The application is meant to ensure that the booth officers are being provided with the facility that has been assured to them for the conduct of the election and their own welfare in terms of basic amenities, transportation facilities and other services related to the voting process. The system holds the advantage that the request or the grievance raised by an officer will not go unattended and he/she only holds the privilege to close the raised request. If their grievances or requests for the above-mentioned booth level facilities are not resolved at the next higher-level authority in a specified time span, it will be forwarded and notified to the above hierarchy. This ensures that the polling booth officers are satisfied with their assured needs over the tight schedule of the election process with ease.
