Şerif Cırık or Aşık Mahzuni Şerif (17 November 1939, Afşin, Kahramanmaraş - 17 May 2002; Köln, Germany), Turkish folk poet.

Mahzuni Şerif, whose real name is Şerif Cırık, was born on 17 November 1939 in the village of Berçenek in Afşin district of Kahramanmaraş. Soyu is based on the Ağuçan tribe that migrated from Horasan to Tunceli. Her father's name is Zeynel, and her mother's name is Döndü. The name "Sheriff" was dedicated to the name of his uncle who had died before he was born. She wrote about her birth date and descent in a quintile:

"I am thirty-nine if I'm curious
I came from Zeynel father on November seventeen.
He returned to the mother worship, ehlibeyt meftunuyuz
I've come from the pain of the fan.

While he was studying at the Lütfi Mehmet Efendi Madrasa in Alembey village, he started his education life. In 1955, he enrolled in the Mersin NCO and then in 1959 he graduated from the school. As a result of a search, he fled the school with the poems of Alevi-Bektashi poets and books on Marxism and never returned. He went to Kuleli Military High School in 1961, but abandoned his studies due to financial difficulties.

Mahzuni Sharif, the first marriage with his uncle's daughter Emine had performed as an imam nuptial and from this marriage had a daughter named Züleyha. Ozan, divorced from her husband by letter. His second marriage was with Sovina (Suna) of Italian descent. He had three children, Ferhat, Şirin and Emrah. After Suna left home, the bard had her third marriage with a primary school teacher in Gaziantep, Fatma Hanım, and had four children, Derya, Ali, Şeyda and Yetiş.

His words and compositions were frequently used by Turkish folk music artists. Researcher Author Battal Pehlivan's review of Aşık Mahzuni Şerif's life and art was called Dom Dom Kurşunu. Voting about the birth place Berçenek Voting Our Hands and Pain Doctor in addition to the compositions of Dom Dom, Yedin Beni, Yuh Yuh, Fadimem, Rose Face, Ciğerparem, Mevlam Gül Sayerek, Merdo, Dostum Dostum, Khan Sarhoş Khan Drinking, Fountain Black, Lying in the world, Aglasam ?, Abur Cubur Adam, Murderer America and a weird grave in this tomb, known for his works known as the slaves of Aşık Mahzuni, Zeki Müren from Gülden Karaböcek, Zara and İbrahim Tatlıses to Ahmet Kaya Many of the Turkish folk music and some pop music artists also studied, from Mahsun Kırmızıgül to Murat Göğebakan and Selda Bağcan. Aşık Mahzuni, who is a poet of folk poetry and poems the language of speech, has 453 records, 58 tapes and 8 published books. There are also 2 documentaries drawn by TRT. Between 1989 and 1991, he was named as one of the world's three biggest poets by the People's Poets Federation. He dedicated the hit Sivas Dram to those who lost their lives in the 1993 Sivas Massacre.

At the beginning of 2001, she became ill and underwent intensive care due to heart and respiratory failure. He was discharged in May. But she married, had eight children and four grandchildren. When he passed away, the case in the National Security Court had not yet been concluded. The grave is located at the place called Çilehane near the Hacı Bektaş Veli Complex.
