THE PEOPLE-POWERED LOCATION NETWORK. With over 1 million location verifying beacons already built, and hundreds of thousands ready to be enabled, join us in connecting dataistic networks to the real world.

The XYO Network app allows your Android smartphone or tablet computer to become a Bridge, connecting to Sentinels (via Bluetooth) and Archivists (via mobile data or WiFi) to power XYO Network by gathering heuristic ledgers, which provide proof of location, from nearby Sentinels. Your device can even act as a Sentinel, itself, becoming a heuristic witness for XYO Network. When the data your devices collect is used to answer queries, you can connect your geodata keys to collect XYO digital assets.

Features:

Provide heuristic data through XYO Network to other users making queries, set up and organize your devices, monitor your data, and connect your geodata keys to XYO Network.

Required Permissions and Services:

Bluetooth: Sentinels connect to other devices via Bluetooth. In order to detect them and connect with XYO Network, you’ll need Bluetooth services turned on.

Location: The XYO Network app uses your device’s location services to orient the heuristic ledgers provided by Sentinels.

WiFi or Mobile Data: In order for the XYO Network app to connect with the rest of the network, it must be online.

Storage: XYO Network app only stores app-related information.

Notes:

See the specifications for your Android device to see how many open Bluetooth connections it can support. All BLE-enabled devices have limitations to the number of connections they can have open at one time.

XYO Network app operates in the background of your operating system and may impact the battery life of your device. If closed, all XYO Network tracking and data gathering will immediately cease until the app is restarted.

XYO Network works with Android devices running at least Android version 5.0.0.
