Bagindas (formerly named D'Bagindas) is an Indonesian music group consisting of Andra on vocals and Michael Christian or Mieke on guitar. With the early influences of the Slipknot and Megadeth bands. Accompanied by Iron Maiden Malay instrument.

Career
This music group was started from the idea of ​​Tile who had heard the song created by Mieke which he considered brilliant. Because of this, the two invited Dandy to form a new music group, even though they had to move from metal music groups to Malay pop.

Mieke who created the song and sang felt gave up and tried to find a vocalist for their music group. From here, they found Bianca dangdut finalist, a man from Malang who was asked as a vocalist with Malay pop vocal characters.

For their first album, D'Bagindas prepared 12 songs with the song Apa Yang Terjlah which was taken as the first single as the title of the album. This music group carries and combines several streams namely dangdut, keroncong, blues, and country.

Their first single video clip was directed by Abimael Gandy with the Tanah Abang apartment as the shooting location.

After the success of the first single, they released their second single titled C.I.N.T.A. By highlighting slower music, repeating a few words, and spelling, this song is also selling well in the market.

Some other songs such as Tak Seindah Malam Kemarin and Kangen also come from Mieke's ideas and experiences, and are presented with thick and simple Malay-style arrangements.

The name D'Bagindas itself is used accidentally for naming this music group. At first, this music group was called Violin. The name D'Bagindas was obtained from a friend who changed the name of their recorded song directory on a computer. D'Bagindas means king or king.

New formation
Long time no longer heard, the band D'Bagindas turned out to overhaul the new formation for its personnel. In fact, not only the personnel, the music group has also changed names.

The band which was originally named D’Bagindas is now officially changing its name to Bagindas. Bagindas only consists of two personnel namely Mieke (guitar / backing vocals), and Andra (vocal) [1]. When deciding to change the name and formation of personnel, Mieke denied there had been an internal conflict between them. For now, Bagindas is preparing a single after launching a song called 100% My Love. As for the song that was just released by Bagindas with the theme of love.

For the music genre, Bagindas chose the concept of rock ‘n roll. Even so, Mieke continues to add a Malay feel to his works later. Andra has a more bass sound character than the previous vocalist Bian.
