This app will be used to collect students' app usage data. We will use those data in research projects. Only selected students' will be able to use this app by scanning his/her student ID card.

Features:
• Observe past 7 days app usage data in more detail. You will be able to see the summary by specific time range also. i.e. Summary of app usage data from 12AM to 6AM in past 7 days.
• Observe app usage data of each separate day in past 7 days.
• Observe app usage data of past 14 days, 28 days, 2 Months, 3 Months, 4 Months, 6 Months and 1 Year.

Which type of data will be collected ?

App Usage Data

The following data will be collected for each app which has been used within past 7 days. We will collect the data for those apps also which have been used within past 7 days but uninstalled later.

Note : These data can be collected for 8 days also, depending on your Smartphone configuration.

• Date and time when an app was moved to foreground.
• Name of the app.
• Package name of the app.
• Date and time when the app was moved to background.
• Usage duration after launching the app.
• Type of the app ( System or Third party app). i.e. Settings is a system app.
• Total usage duration of the app in a specific time range of a day or in past 7 days. i.e. Total usage duration of Facebook from 12AM to 6AM on yesterday or how long Instagram was used in past 7 days.
• Total number of launch of the app in a specific time range of a day or in past 7 days. i.e. Number of times Prothom Alo app was launched from 12 AM to 6AM on yesterday or number of times YouTube was launched within past 7 days.
• Maximum app usage duration in one launch for a specified time range in past 7 days and also maximum app usage duration in one launch in past 7 days. i.e. Maximum app usage duration in one launch from 6AM to 12PM in past 7 days or maximum app usage duration in one launch in past 7 days.

We will collect the following data for past 14 days, 28 days, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months and 1 year. These data will be collected for each app which has been used within the specified time ranges.

Note: We will collect data for those apps also which have been used within the specified time ranges but uninstalled later.

• Total usage duration of an app. i.e. Total usage duration of Facebook within past 1 year
• Installed date and time of that app
• Name of the app
• Package name of the app
• Last used date and time of the app
• Type of the app (System or Third party)

Which type of permissions do you need to my collect data?
• Since we will collect your app usage data which is Personal and sensitive, we need your permission to access usage data.

Will you allow third party to use my data ?
We will never allow third party to use your data. Your data is always valuable to us and so only the researchers of this project will be allowed to use your data.

Will you delete my data after this research ?
Sorry, your data is always valuable to us and so we will never delete your data except you want to delete.

What will you do using my data ?
We will use your data only for research purpose.
