Garanhuns lives the expectation of the 6th edition of Viva Dominguinhos. The event starts next Thursday, the 25th, and lasts until Saturday, the 27th, will be marked by concerts, which take place during the day and night periods, as well as special projects aimed at perpetuating the Northeastern cultural heritage. All programming is free and open to the public.

In Mestre Dominguinhos Square, where the nightly shows take place, a similar structure to the previous years is already in final assembly phase. There are no staterooms in elevated structures, but food areas on both sides of the square. During the day, on Friday and Saturday, starting at 10am, the event will also bring all the wealth of local culture with the Canta Dominguinhos Stage, in the Espaço Colunata.

This year, the program is full of national and local singers who promise to open the São João do Nordeste with a golden key. On Thursday, the 25th, at 8pm, Mourinha do Forró will be the first to perform at Viva Dominguinhos Stage, followed by singer Targino Gondim; the accordion Cezzinha and the singer Jorge de Altinho. On Friday, the 26th, who opens the night is the Nando Azevêdo from Garanhuense. Mestrinho and Dorgival Dantas are also on the schedule of the sixth, which will be closed by Elba Ramalho. On Saturday, the 27th, the forró will be on behalf of Cristina Amaral, Alcymar Monteiro, Alceu Valença and Flávio José.

Already at Palco Canta Dominguinhos, located in Largo do Colunata, in the Center, the party starts on Friday, the 26th, with an accordion wheel that will warm the audience from 10am. The singer Valéria Santos; the Seu Domingu's Project; the Band Quero Xote; Mateus Cordeiro; Amanda Back; Ivan Maceió and Forró do Xeeh are part of the grid. On Saturday, the 27th, the forró starts with another Sanfona Wheel, followed by the Forró Walk, which will gather lovers of the Northeastern musical rhythm to a procession through the streets of the city and is in the Space Colonnade. Morena Forrozeira, the Pisa group at Fulô, Andréa Amorim, Forró do Matuto, Bebeto Oliveira and Forró Caliente Heart and the Forró Pesado de Garanhuns also perform.
