A single player game played on a board having numbered, gridded squares or homes. The player, beginning from the START navigates on the board according to die rolls.

At each landed home, the player campaigns (assumed successful) for prosthetic legs for elephants, imaginatively. When elephants start walking with the prosthetic leg support, thanks to their seed dispersal process, new trees take form on the planet. For each leg unit, it is assumed ten new trees appear in the environment, equivalent to 10 units of goodness for the player.

The goal of the game is to find how much goodness the player earns before reaching the HELP home.

HELP is an acronym for
"Help Elephants Live with Pride".



UNIQUE GAME DYNAMICS

- Unlike most dice games that requires players to race to the finish point, this game rewards the player for moving slowly and earning more and more goodness by visiting more squares.

"WHEN WE SLOW DOWN A BIT, WE CAN GRAB MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP."

- The player gets shifted upward (uphill moves) and downward (ramp slide move), but downward shifts are luckier for the player to help revisit squares missed earlier and earn more goodness. Through this concept, this game attempts to teach a valuable moral for life in general.

GAME THEME

This game attempts to shed light on the menacing problem of landmines and poaching activities maiming the elephants. When an elephant cannot walk, it is destined to die. To give a new lease of life to the elephants, prosthetic leg supports have been designed on a case by case basis. Game for Goodness attempts to create awareness about it in every player's mind, so that everyone can come together to protect the elephants and have them live among us on Planet Earth.
