GOODNESS AND MORALS FOR ALL

"SLIDE DOWNS IN REAL LIFE ARE WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES TO COLLECT SOME OF THE GOODNESS MISSED EARLIER."

A single player game played on a board having numbered, gridded squares or ice cream shops. The player, beginning from the HOME navigates on the board according to die rolls.

At each landed square or ice cream shop , the player, as part of a lucky deal, is rewarded with free scoop(s) of an ice cream flavor, one scoop per cup ( packed in recyclable cups) or small packs of chocolate based toppings, imaginatively. The player gets to know the number of free scoops and the flavor or the chocolate toppings, only after landing at the square. In return, the player earns a chance to plant as many trees as the number of scoops received to make the earth greener. Each cup or pack comes with a seed in it, specialized for each local environment. It is assumed that the player plants the seed after consuming the ice cream.

For every visited square, the count of trees that can be planted is the amount of goodness that can be earned by the player. After receiving the reward at a square, for the first time, the number 0 appears to indicate that no more rewards are possible. If a player lands again at that square, no actions take place.

The goal of the game is to find how much goodness the player can earn, by caring for the environment.

UNIQUE GAME DYNAMICS

- Unlike most dice games that requires players to race to the finish point, this game rewards the player for moving slowly and earning more and more goodness by visiting more squares.

"WHEN WE SLOW DOWN A BIT, WE CAN REWARD OURSELVES WITH MORE GOODNESS"

- The player gets shifted upward (uphill moves) and downward (ramp slide move), but downward shifts are luckier for the player to help revisit squares missed earlier and earn more goodness. Through this concept, this game attempts to teach a valuable moral for life in general.

Game Theme:
Ice creams and chocolates are unavoidable for any one. Whatever amount of Goodness we derive from consuming them, we can top it off with some more goodness for us and for our planet, Earth.
