William Shakespeare (born 1564 - died 1616) was an English poet and playwright, many of whom were considered the greatest writer in English. "Bard of Avon" is a nickname given to her birthplace in Avon, Stratford, England.
William Shakespeare died April 23, 1616 at the age of fifty. His body was buried in Trinity Church two days later. He even said literary pieces on his grave that he carved:

Take you to the Christ to dig the dirt that is here!

Blessed be he who throws this earth, And curse to take away my bones!

He was a man who had no copies of his works in 1616, and some of them were published in independent versions, the same without his supervision and editing. In 1623, two members of the Shakespeare delegation, John Heming, and Henry Candelle, published a comprehensive version of its play titles, called First Folio.
