In this post, I am going to show you how to install Quality Seeds on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Quality Seeds using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Quality Seeds" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

Order Breeder Seed (BS), Foundation Seed (FS) Registered Seed (RS) and Certified seed (CS) through this app. Receive notifications from the DOA about allocations and calls from potential CS buyers,…all through this app. Also update your Certified seeds stocks and monitor your own seed sales. A one-stop app for the seed systems of Myanmar.

This app is a part of the EGS Demand forecasting system initially developed under the Rice Seed Sector Development project, supporting the Department of Agriculture (DOA) and Department of Agriculture Research (DAR) of the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Irrigation (MOALI) of Myanmar, funded by LIFT. These initiatives are implemented by Welthungerhilfe, Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation. This digital system is further supported by ISSD Myanmar with funding from DGIS, The Netherlands for scaling of pulses and oil seed crops in the dry zone of Myanmar. This application is owned and managed by the Seed Division, DOA, MOALI. The concept and algorithms were developed by Abishkar Subedi and Arnab Gupta from Wageningen University and Research, and WHH with the digital coding outsourced from Global New Wave Tech.

This Quality Seed App has basic 2 sections.

Farmers Section
1. Voice instructions
2. Select, crop, variety and call CS seed sellers
3. Directly call seed sellers and close deal
4. GPS activated application so call the nearest sellers

Seed Growers section
1. Need the QR code/ unique ID to login. Get these from the nearest Township DOA office or the Seed Division
2. Order BS/FS/RS for current season and future seasons
3. Receive notifications on allotment of BS/FS/RS from the Seed Division
4. Enter CS produced data. This automatically features your produce for sales. FS/RS produced data will be entered from the web-app which needs login credentials to enter.
5. Receive calls from potential buyers
6. Update CS stock and monitor sales

There is an additional “news” section where you can receive news and information that needs to be sent by the DOA or Seed Division to the seed growers and farmers.
