Calculate the optimal amount of feed for the dairy herd.

Get practical in your day-to-day life and know if you're getting the expected return on investment in ration to increase your milk yield.

According to scientific studies, with the derivative of the milk production function per pound of feed we can get the point where according to milk and feed prices the financial return becomes negative.

To further increase the performance of your financial investment in feed, we provide a minimum percentage threshold of profit on feed.

By increasing the amount of feed in the productivity function, the profit on the feed decreases until reaching the optimum point where the profit on the feed is zero, that is, 1 real in ration returns 1 real in milk. (Which actually generates injury in these last grams of feed closer to the optimum due to process costs)

So with the definition of the minimum profit on the ration, we guarantee that the lowest profit point will be the one defined by the user.

We also report the return on feed investment (ROI) for decision making.
