HUMANITY CHAIN FUND (HCF)

What is HCF?

HCF is a donation fund to address basic survival and human right issues of Indians across the country.

Who will contribute to HCF?

You and I - the common Indian. The idea is that a person commits a small regular amount and creates a recurring charge / standing instruction for its payment, monthly or annually. The magic is in the small value of the contribution.

How much is the contribution?

Very small - less than a cup of tea a month - and no, you CAN'T pay higher than the four slabs mentioned:

HCF100 member - committing Re. 1/day payable recurrinly @ Rs.30/month or Rs. 360/year.

HCF200 member - committing Rs.2/day payable recurrinly @ Rs.60/month or Rs. 720/year.

HCF500 member - committing Rs.5/day payable recurrinly @ Rs.150/month or Rs. 1,800/year.

HCF1000 member - committing Rs.10/day payable recurrinly @ Rs.300/month or Rs.3,600/year.

Can I pay a higher amount per day?

No you can't. But you can raise your contribution level through our 'Humanity Chain Link' model.

What is the 'Humanity Chain Link' Model?

This is like a goodness MLM model where you get goodness credit for every member whom you add and in a chain manner, for every subsequent member(s) made by them.

How can I get credit for commitments to HCF made by my friends?

It's very easy - when they make their recurring commitment, they need to mention your HCF number in the reference column - and you will automatically get the goodness credit based on their commitment.

At what rate will I get the goodness credit?

Just as in MLM models, you will get goodness credit as follows:

1st level members - 20% of their daily contribution (in paise)

2nd level members (i.e. made by your first level members) - 10% of their daily contribution (in paise)

3rd level members (i.e. made by your second level members) - 5% of their daily contribution (in paise)

4th and subsequent level members (i.e. made by your third and subsequent level members) - 2% of their daily contribution (in paise)

The value will be added to your original daily contribution (in paise) and we shall encourage all members to compete in goodness to achieve targets of Lakhpati, Millionaire, Crorepati (in goodness points).

Can you explain the Human Chain Link MLM model with an example?

Imagine a person A starts with own contribution of Rs. 5/day. He then makes 4 members @ Re 1 each and 3 members @ Rs.2 each. These members together make 32 members @Re 1, 15 @ Rs 2 and 1@Rs.10

Here, A got 500 points for his own contribution (Rs 5/day)

His first level has 7 members aggregating Rs 10 per day - he will get 20 percent of that (in paisa) i.e. 200 points

His second level has Rs. 72 committed and he gets credit of 10 percent (in paise) i.e. 720

Hence his score is currently 1420. He will get credit for subsequent levels as well @ 5 percent and 2 percent. In all these cases, the other people in the chain (who are between him and the last point) will also get goodness credit.

Will the credit be given each year or only the first time?

The credit will be given only the first time the members joins and continues. If a member does not renew on future, his points will be deducted from his chain members.

How will all this be facilitated?

Through an online software and app. All receipt will be automatically generated and 80G Certificates also provided for Donations.

What is your target size?

This is a fund of India and for Indians. Considering atleast 10 percent of India as able to contribute Re 1/day, we should look at 10 crore members over time.

How will people access this fund?

The fund will be open to access by empanelled NGOs who can use it to support genuine causes on the ground. HCF members will also be eligible to make recommendations for desrving cases.
