Jagannath (that is, "Nath of the world" or "Lord of the world") is a special form of the Hindu god Vishnu or his incarnation Krishna. Jagannath was worshiped with his grandfather Balaram and sister Subhadra.
Jagannath's statue is usually made of wood. The eyes of this statue are big and round. The hand is incomplete. No foot is seen in the statue.

The worship of Jagannath is also different from the worship of other Hindu deities.

His worship is practiced in Orissa, Chhattisgarh (Bastar region), West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Assam, Manipur and Tripura states of India and Bangladesh.

The followers of Vaishnava, Saiva, Shakta and Smara are worshiped by Jagannath. Even with the Buddhist and Jain sect, Jagannath's connection was shown.

The most famous festival of Jagannath is the Rath Yatra. The Rath Yatra festival is celebrated as a symbol of Krishna's return to Vrindavan after a long separation. The main temple of Jagannath is located in Puri city of the state of Orissa, India. This temple is one of the four quarters of Hinduism. During the Rath Yatra, devotees from all over the world come to Puri city.
