Step By Step Guide To Install Voice Control Home Automation using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Voice Control Home Automation" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This project is voice controlled home automation system to control
appliances with your voice through an Android app. An NODEMCU-8266
and Arduino board is used for controlling the relay through which an
appliance is switched on/off. There will be wifi microcontroller called
NODEMCU-8266 which have the built-in code (Which will be coded in
Arduino IDE) to communicate with the android phone. Three main things
which are connecting with each other, i.e. relay board which is user
friendly connecting with NODEMCU-8266 to perform the task which user
want to perform and NODEMCU-8266 will be connected to Arduino
board for voltages.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
