Time Tales - The Etruscans is a playful, educational graphic adventure for children lived in the first person. The video game was born from the idea of ​​creating a playful path to make the world of the ancient Etruscans known to children. Not a simple digital lesson disguised as a game, but a real journey, between adventures and unexpected events, that will lead the player to discover the ancient civilization.
Along the way, in fact, the child will have to solve some puzzles and games in order to proceed from level to level and, from time to time, will receive some "pills" of information regarding this ancient people. At the beginning of the story the player / protagonist is encouraged by his parents to visit an archaeological museum and from there, thanks to a strange luminous vase, he will begin his unexpected journey back in time.
The aim of the game is to be able to find the vase in order to return to the present. To help the player there will be Velia, an Etruscan girl of about 10 years who will accompany him along the 8 stages of the journey, providing suggestions and telling the customs of his people from his perspective as a child. During the adventure the player will meet different characters and will find himself immersed in environments typical of the Etruscan era: in this way the children will have the opportunity to learn and deepen the History they study at school, having fun. The project was created in collaboration with two professional archaeologists who, for years, through the association M (u) oviMenti and the Archeokids project, have been dealing with, among other things, heritage education aimed at children. Furthermore, the video game is conceived as the first episode of a larger project that aims to create a series of chapters dedicated to ancient history in which gaming is declined for children and is used to promote the dissemination of history and archeology .
