Kazimova Aygun Alasgar gizi (January 26, 1971, Baku) is an Azerbaijani singer, composer, lead actress, People's Artist of Azerbaijan (2008). Aygun Kazimova is considered the founder of contemporary Azerbaijani music.

Aygun Kazimova was born on January 26, 1971 in the Nizami district of Baku. The fourth-last child of the family. Aygun entered the first class of school No. 12 in 1977. Soon he becomes the favorite of all his teachers and classmates. Aygün's songs performed at the school's most important events are encouraging him in these years. She lost her father when she was in the 8th grade. He was the goalkeeper and captain of the national handball team while still studying at secondary school.
