Agayeva Tunzala Gabil gizi - composer, singer, honored artist of Azerbaijan.

Tunzala Aghayeva, famous Azerbaijani singer and composer, was born on October 21, 1976 in Tovuz, northwest of Azerbaijan. He graduated from the music school piano class in Tovuz and later studied music at Gambar Guseynli Music College in piano class. She also received composer courses at the State Musical Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov. When he was 12 years old, he composed the first poem of the famous Azerbaijani poet Samed Vurgun "You are not." Later this song was included in his first album.

Honorary Artist was awarded the title of Honorary Artist by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 16, 2006.

In 2001, Tunzala Aghayeva became the winner of the "Baku Fall" festival, a popular musical competition for young singers. Since then he has been involved in professional creative activities as a composer and performer of pop songs.

In 2002, she stayed at the Turksoy International Music Creativity Festival of Turkish Youth held in the Russian Federation.

In 2003, Tunzale Aghayeva became the Grand Prix winner of the Yalta-2003 International Music Competition in Ukraine.

In 2006 Tunzala Aghayeva was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist" of Azerbaijan.

In 2008, Tunzala Aghayeva, together with renowned jazz composer, pianist and arranger Jamil Amirov, implemented the project "My Country". In the project, the "My Country" novel by the outstanding composer Asaf Zeynalli was presented to the audience in a new array and new style.

Since 2008, Tunzale Aghayeva is one of the permanent juries of Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2010, according to a survey conducted by the Golden Heads Youth Center, Tunzala Aghayeva was named "The Most Valuable Singer of the Year" in Azerbaijan.

In 2011 she was awarded a special diploma by Ireli Public Union, the largest public association for active participation in youth social movements in the republic.

In 2012, with the support of Ireli Public Union, Tunzale Aghayeva composed of her works on patriotism called "My Motherland" ("I'm Azerbaijani", "We're Coming", "Ignorant", "Martyrdom", "Our Time") released his album. The album was distributed to kindergartens, secondary and higher educational institutions. The goal was to instill feelings of patriotism in youth and children.

In September 2012, Tunzala Aghayeva was awarded the title of "The Best Artist of the Year" by the "Association of European Newspaper Employees" in Turkey.

So far he has been an official guest at a number of international music festivals. Tunzala Aghayeva represented Azerbaijan abroad within the framework of "Days of Azerbaijani Culture" and participated as a jury in music competitions of young performers.

In August 2012, he gave a concert for the International Red Crescent Society. The concert was supported by Eurasia International Research Institute and was aimed at helping Azerbaijanis suffering from earthquakes in Iran.


Tunzala Aghayeva composes and plays pop-jazz-folk music genres with fan and blues elements.
