Present at the source of the event, the APS covers the news from four regional directorates (Blida, Ouargla, Constantine and Oran), across the national territory, which coordinate the activity of forty seven (47) offices of wilaya. Abroad, the APS is represented in twelve (12) capitals (Paris, Brussels, London, Rome, Madrid, Moscow, Amman, Cairo, Dakar, Tunis, Rabat and Washington).

At the central editorial level, located in its head office in Algiers, information is collected, processed, prioritized and disseminated in real time by five chief editors: national, sport, economic, international, translation. In addition to its own collection network, the APS receives, either by satellite or FTP, press agencies around the world with which it is bound by exchange agreements.
