This version of Reversi is played the most. Because of the Shakespeare name, I am sure everyone knows which version.

It is played on a 8 x 8 board with 64 disks, that are white on one side and black on the other.

The game begins with four disks placed in a square in the middle of the grid.

Each disk played must be laid adjacent to an opponent's disk so that the opponent's disk or a row of opponent's pieces is flanked by the new disk and another disk of the player's colour. All of the opponent's disks between these two disks are 'captured' and turned over to match the player's colour.

The game is over when neither player has a legal move (i.e. a move that captures at least one opposing piece) or when the board is full.

If you press and hold your finger on the display, the game will show all possible moves. If you release, the disk is put on the board.

The player always plays with white. Computer is black.

The game is free without any ads.
No in-app purchases.
No collection of personal data.
No special rights on your device necessary.

Have fun!
Game balance was tuned a little bit.
In addition I added an experimental game mode called "Reverse Reversi".
The player with the smallest number of its own color wins.
You can switch to this mode if you press the upper part of the screen in the home menu.
