Arthral fibrillation is a cardiac arrhythmia and is among the major ICTUS risk factors.

It is often silent and you may not notice it. Atrial Fibrillation may be paroxysmal, coming and going, and therefore not being there when you go to the doctor.

For this reason it should also be checked at home regularly and in the event of symptoms (palpitations, fatigue, etc.).

Doctors recommend checking for the presence or absence of Atrial Fibrillation in all persons over the age of 65 or after 55 if hypertensive, diabetic or with other diseases.

Atrial Fibrillation can be checked by palpating the wrist (if properly prepared) or simply by using a pressure meter specifically designed for Atrial Fibrillation screening such as Microlife AFIB ADVANCED.
