The word hadith comes from Arabic, a) al Hadith, plural hudatsa ahadith, hidtsan and hudtsan. Whereas according to the terminology, hadith is given a different understanding by the scholars. The difference in views is much influenced by the limited and broad object of each review, which of course contains a tendency to the flow of knowledge in it.

According to the expert ushul; the notion of hadith is:

كل ما صدرعن النبى ص م غيرالقران الكريم من قول اوفعل اوتقريرممايصلح ان يكون دليلا لحكم شرعى

"Hadith, namely everything that was released from the Prophet SAW other than the Qur'an, Karim, both in the form of words, deeds, and taqrir of the Prophet relating to the law of shara"

In everyday life, sleep is one of the processes for resting and also keeping energy healthy and fit. Many body problems and detoxification processes occur during sleep. For that, the process of sleep becomes part of the biological mechanism in the human body. Not only in a biological perspective, it turns out that long before biology emerged in the world, Islam had discussed sleep. This is as in the Koran. For this reason, Islam and Science are always in line.

"And among His signs of power is your sleep at night and during the day and your efforts to find some of His gifts. In fact, there are signs for those who listen. "(Qur'an, 23: 23).

In the verse above, it is explained that our sleep in the day or night is part of God's power. It is precisely God provides an opportunity for humans to rest to sleep at night while trying in the morning. This sleep system has created God according to the system of life on earth. Morning or noon the sun is still very strong and looks light, then provides energy for plants to photosynthesize, illuminating humans so they can be active in activities. If there were no such system in the daytime, and the human body could not actively work during the day there would be damage to the body for humans themselves.

For this reason, Allah said that sleep is a process of rest. By resting, it can be the freshness and detoxification process of poisons in the body according to the biological mechanism that occurs, "And We make your sleep to rest". (QS. An-Naba ': 9).
