Crazy Eights is a card game in which each player tries to get rid of his cards.

Standard deck of 52 cards is used. Each player is dealt a hand of seven cards. One card is placed face up on the table to start the discard pile, the remainder of the deck is placed face down to form the stock.

Legal moves :
- If the top card of the discard pile is not an eight, player can play any card that matches the rank or suit of the top card.
- An eight may be played on any card. Player must nominate the suit.
- If an eight is on the top of the discard pile you must play nominated suit or another eight.
- If there is no legal move the player must draw a card from the stock.

Scoring :
Playing a hand is finished when one of the players get rid of all his cards. This player is the winner of the hand. He scores the value of the opponents cards left in the hand. Values of cards are 10 for a picture, face value for other cards and 50 for eights. If the stock pile is exhausted play ends and players scores the sum of card values in the opponents hands. Game ends when one of the players scores agreed number of points (100, 300 or 500 points).
