Juz amma and Juz 30, in Arabic: الجزء ٣٠ [a], better known as Juz ‘Amma (Arabic: جز عمّ), is the last part of the Juz in the Koran. Juz is marked by the first word عم (trans: 'amma) in the surah An-Naba' verse one and ends in Surah An-Naas verse 6. Most of the suras in juz are short suras from the surah that descends in Mecca. [ 3] Some of the suras that descended on Medina were only Surah Al-Bayyinah, Az-Zalzalah, and An-Nasr. [B] [4] The recitation of the Koran in this section is mostly done, some easily memorized suras are in the last row of the back of Juz, as well as the back and end of the Qur'an. Surah with the most verses in this surah is Surah An-Nazi'at with 46 verses, followed by Surah 'Abasa with 42 verses, and Surah An-Naba' with a number of 40 verses. [5] The shortest surah in the Qur'an is also found in this section of the juz, namely Surah Al-Kausar with the number 3 verses. In observing the Koran, Juz 30 is read on the thirtieth day according to the number juz. Besides being read on the last day at the end of the month in observing, most priests in prayer both obligatory (Subuh, Magrib, and Isha) and congregational sunnah (Tarawih or Witir) recite verses in this Juz after reading Surah Al-Fatihah. In the tradition of the Indonesian people, Juz 30 or Juz 'Amma is more known from books that are arranged singly or in the Qur'an in a special book that only writes the last suras in Juz 30. Now, Juz' Amma's single books in Qur'an education and learning mostly used in the second stage in learning to read the Koran, after the phase of the introduction of the Hijaiyah letters through the Iqra method or other similar methods before learning and reciting the Koran with a complete number of Juz. The order of the Qur'an suras listed is sura 78 to 114.
