Bhagwat Gita is a spoken dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna, where Krishna Stands as a Charioteer and Arjuna stand as a warrior in the field of Kurukshetra. After seeing his own family on the field of Kurukshetra before him and to win the war he must defeat and kill them all he decided to refuse to fight in the battle of Kurukshetra. But Krishna wanted to fight the Mahabharata war to establish Dharma and to fulfill his duty as a Kshatriya.

Thus to destroy the Adharma created by Kauravas and to fulfill his duty Kshatriya Krishna started a conversation with Arjuna so that Arjuna who is filled with a moral dilemma would disappear.
